The first of its kind joint venture in Northern California combines Sutter Health’s high-quality, local doctors, hospitals and other care providers with Aetna’s health plan experience, care management expertise, analytical insights and health information technology. Sutter Health | Aetna provides integrated health care coverage and care that can deliver an affordable, convenient member experience. It uses technology and data in an effort to better track, treat and improve the health of its members, while offering top-notch, integrated customer service. The Sutter Health | Aetna network of providers consists of primary care doctors, specialists, hospitals, urgent care centers and walk-in clinics in the greater Sacramento, Central Valley and Bay Area communities. Health benefit plans are administered by Sutter Health and Aetna Administrative Services LLC (Sutter Health | Aetna).
